Chopta, Tunganath, Chandrashila, Deoriatal Lake, and Kartik Swami Temple is a perfect blend of trekking, serene lakes, and spiritual experiences amidst the breath taking Garhwal Himalayas. All these are short treks which are ideal for beginners and families and the base for these treks is Chopta which is a high altitude meadow also known as mini Switzerland in the Chamoli region of Uttarakhand. A steep climb from Chopta takes you to Tungnath temple and just above is Chandrashila Summit at 4100 meters also known as Moon Rock, It’s from here you get to witness a panoramic 360 degrees view of the very majestic Himalayan peaks including Nanda Devi, Bandarpunch, Chaukhamba and Kedar Peak. Deoriatal is nearby at Village Sari and is one of the most beautiful lakes in the region. Kartik Swami Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva's elder son, Kartikeya and is perched on a hilltop at an elevation of 3050 meters with mesmerizing views of the much higher peaks on the horizon, from Chaukhamba to Bandarpunch and from Neelkanth to Trishul.

Day 2 – Chopta – Tunganath – Chandrashila - Chopta (05 km trek one way )
Day 3 – Chopta -Deoriatal– Village Sari (3Kms Hike) - Ukhimath
Day 4 – Ukhimath – Kanak Chaura – Kartik Swami (3 Kms Hike one way) - Rishikesh
Day 5 –Rishikesh – Haridwar (30 Kms drive)

WEATHER CONDITION
Uttarakhand being a hill state where weather is uncertain and with Dhams located at a very high altitude, its recommended to carry light to heavy woollens. Anyone traveling to altitudes above 10000 Ft. is liable to suffer from Acute Mountain Sickness ( AMS ), unless properly acclimatized. In this tour, you are touching high altitude terrain. The most common symptoms of AMS are headache, disturbed sleep, loss of appetite, nausea, coughing, irregular breathing, breathlessness and lack of concentration. You are advised to allow time for acclimatization before engaging in any physical activity, once you reach high altitude terrains. Smoking & Drinking should also be avoided
