Badrinath and Satopanth Tal trek is a mesmerizing journey through the Garhwal Himalayas in Uttarakhand, India. This trek connects the sacred town of Badrinath—a prominent site of the Char Dham pilgrimage—to the pristine Satopanth Tal, a glacial lake believed to be spiritually significant. It offers a blend of mythology, adventure, and stunning alpine landscapes, with views of towering peaks like Neelkanth , Chaukhamba and Balakun.
Badrinath Temple is situated at an elevation of 3,133 meters in the Garhwal Himalayas. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is considered as one of the most holy places in Hindu religion. The Temple is on the banks of River Alaknanda and is guarded on either side by the two mountain ranges known as Nar & Narayan with the towering Neelkanth Peak providing a splendid backdrop. Around the temple are Tapt Kund, Suraj Kund and NaradKund–housed naturally occurring hot springs where all devotees take a ritualistic dip before performing pooja at Temple.
Mana Village is the first Indian village and is Inhabited by an Indo-Mongolian tribe. It's a small yet significant village located near Badrinath at an altitude of approximately 3,200 meters making it one of the highest villages in the area. Mana is renowned for its natural beauty, cultural importance, and proximity to the Badrinath Temple.
Satopanth lake is a high altitude lake located in chamoli district of Uttarakhand and near to Badrinath . This glacial, triangular-shaped lake is said to be the meditation site of the trinity—Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh (Shiva). The lake is surrounded with mesmerise and majestic views of Mt Chaukhamba , ,Mt Paravati, Mt. Balakun , Mt. Neelkantha This route have mythological significance known as the way to the heaven ( Swargarohini) the route of pandavas and there are spiritual significance also known as mahaavtar babaji.
Chakratirtha is a scenic meadow and a significant campsite surrounded by massive Himalayan peaks.

Day 5 - Chakratirtha – Satopanth- Chakratirth 10 kms trek / 7-8 hours)

In the event of cancellation of booking due to any avoidable /unavoidable reasons we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows:

WEATHER CONDITION
Uttarakhand being a hill state where weather is uncertain and with Dhams located at a very high altitude, its recommended to carry light to heavy woollens. Anyone traveling to altitudes above 10000 Ft. is liable to suffer from Acute Mountain Sickness ( AMS ), unless properly acclimatized. In this tour, you are touching high altitude terrain. The most common symptoms of AMS are headache, disturbed sleep, loss of appetite, nausea, coughing, irregular breathing, breathlessness and lack of concentration. You are advised to allow time for acclimatization before engaging in any physical activity, once you reach high altitude terrains. Smoking & Drinking should also be avoided
